For over 30 years, the principals of Phalanx have been actively engaged in the malpractice market. Our breadth of malpractice experience includes insurance and reinsurance structures, physician programs, self insurance plans, captive insurance companies, insured trusts, and risk retention groups. This expertise in highly specialized, complex formations and deal structures has helped us develop a deep understanding of our client’s business.

Seeing the need for a change, Phalanx formed in 2009 to offer large physician groups and healthcare facilities alternative solutions to malpractice. Since inception, our main objective has been to educate our clients so they can make informed buying decisions. Our highly analytical approach enables our clients to protect their capital, control their losses, and enjoy the benefits of self-insurance.

While working with local hospitals, we witnessed how physicians were being misguided in their malpractice. As a result, in 2013, we expanded our offerings to include consultation services for New York physicians. To this day, we continue to grow our offerings to include a toolbox for not just the large groups, but smaller practices as well.
